The annual Pony Express and Fall Banquet is a fun and fundraising event held at Lake Center Christian School each year. For several months families throughout the school give money to the school's operating budget.
In 2008 LCCS held the Pony Express celebration on October 7 at the Hartville MarketPlace.
The evening began with Chip Weisel, President of the Board, addressing the crowd. The Pony Express Horseback Riders delivered the saddlebag with the total amount raised in order to offer an excellent Christian education to school families at a reasonable cost.
After a prayer attendees had the opportunity to feast on a BBQ dinner, provided by the Hartville Kitchen. Festivities included pony rides, face painting, square dancing, and cornhole.
