LCCS high school students participate in a mini-term
each year. The purpose of the Mini-Term experience
is to provide learning activities for student that are not
readily available in the classroom. Students and teachers
benefit from relating to each other in the non-traditional
classroom setting. Both students and teachers are able
to participate in activites which are in line with their
individual interstes or activities and it may include a
service component. Students in one 2007-2008 mini-term
served on a rebuilding project in New Orleans, pictured
